Safely in Austria

Katie and I have officially made it safely in Vienna, Austria and survived our first night in a hostel...with a few little "experiences" along the way of course. This afternoon we are looking forward to taking a train (and using our Eurail passes for the first time!) to Schladming where Tauernhof is located.

Last night after arriving, finding and settling into our hostel, we walked to the center of Vienna where the palace and museum were located. By the time we made it over there (about 10pm) the museum was of course closed, but the palace was beautiful, lit u and very peaceful. Surprising the sun didn't set until about 9:30pm so the weather was wonderful (just about 77 F) and we enjoyed our little (well...2hour) stroll throughout Vienna.

Will write again once in Schladming.
